ABOUT
How About That is an architecture studio founded by Danish architect Michael Henriksen.
The studio, established in 2024, is managed by Michael as a secondary venture alongside his role as Director at Coffey Architects in London.
Michael is all about architecture with purpose - clear concepts that create beautiful, inclusive spaces for all, blending forward-thinking vision with a pragmatic touch. Michael’s ability to balance the big picture with meticulous detail has made him a driving force behind numerous award-winning projects, including the prestigious Dana Library and Research Centre for the Science Museum in South Kensington, honoured with an RIBA London Award.
Before joining Coffey Architects, Michael honed his craft at top studios in Hamburg and Copenhagen, including the renowned BIG, where he worked on innovative projects like the World Trade Centre Vilnius and LEGO Towers.
A passionate educator, Michael lectures at Westminster University, guiding international students on their path to becoming architects in the UK. With academic roots at Aalborg University, his studies focused on sustainability, tectonic design, and Nordic architectural traditions - a foundation that informs his exceptional work to this day.
